I just got LW 4.0 for my Pentium today!!!!! It insatlled with no problems
under NT. Installed off of 3 floppies (1 with program, the second didn't ge
used, and the third was a driver for the Par port dongle). The CD installed
all the extras.
It looks real nice on a big monitor. I rendered a scene that I had done
on my 25MHz '040, which had taken 2.5 min with no AA, in only 50 seconds
with low AA turned on. Is this confusing enough? In otherwords......
It SCREAMED!
I can tell already that I will miss Macros... Never relized how often I used
F1 to center in Modeler. I guess I will do some modelling funtions on the
Amiga, and finish on the Pentium.
Also, is there a way to get it to test render to a full screen? The little
preview window makes it hard to see fine details in surfaces etc.
